Parihaka NZ History

Salaam bloggers, this week we learned about Parihaka  which was a non violent protest but then the British army made it violent. This Friday we had to wear white to remember Parihaka day so we made a headband with no top but side and we had a choice. We had a choice of one or two or three feathers. We had to have some taniko patterns on our headbands that we made. I hope you guys have good luck on this day and remember the parihaka people who had to sacrifice for us. Some facts are that the people took some pegs off the ground to stop the surveyors. We should also wear white on this day to remember parihaka day. Here is a picture of the headband that I am wearing.

I chose this pattern of triangles because they were easy and looked good.

Blog you later bloggers salaam.

Black Ferns!

Salaam bloggers around the world, have you guys ever watched rugby?, because I have watched rugby. I wonder if you guys know about the Black Ferns? The rugby organisation set the Black Ferns game 40 minutes after the All Blacks game starts which is 40 minutes before the Black Ferns game. If you guys know what a bonus is a bonus is basically free money and more money because of the bonus, only the All Blacks get the bonus if they win and if the Black Ferns win they don’t get bonus money at all. I think the Black Ferns should get money as well because it is not going to be fair for the Black Ferns whilst the All Blacks get the money. The rugby Franchise should also organise rugby games and play at different times. I can show you my letter that I wrote for you guys Black Ferns.

I hope you guys have a good time Black Ferns stay strong Kia kaha have believe fly and dance and sing Black Ferns. Here is a photo.

If you guys go to Black Ferns game at I haven’t you guys have a great time.

Marvelous Museum Memories

Asalaamu alaikuym bloggers, On the 18th October we got a lucky trip to got to the Auckland museum! It was the whole syndicate Tewaka ako basically the seniors. My favorite part of the Museum was the volcano room because we went to a  volcano room where there was a small house were we got to watch a old volcano erupting in NZ and the news was on and the lights were keep on going on of on of and in this sliding door we saw the volcano erupting saying about erupting the house was shaking when the volcano erupted. My group was group 2 and we got split groups of 3. We went to a place where we could see people’s olden day beds and their clothes that they wore. W e also went into a volcano classroom called Douglas Scientist Volcano, because we had to pack stuff that we were in a real volcano eruption but before the eruption. Check out my slideshow it has everything that I like about the museum.

T-ball

Salaam bloggers.

Last Friday on the 13th of May the people who finished their work early got to play t-ball, we also got to play with our teachers. There were two teams and my team were fielding first and not letting the other team win, but they were good as well and were going good. I made my friend out when he was about to go to his team’s home base, he was coming to my base but then I made him out by catching it.

Finally it was our turn and it was my turn to pick up the bat, I was quite nervous but instead I did a big shot and got to 2 bases in one go, but there was still one base left to go to and then the home base left, my friends did it in one go but I tried but I did it in to parts of my turn, batting base to second base, second base to home base, that’s my to parts.

My teacher Miss Mcgrath is the one who made us know who to play, she counted us and she said at the start you have to get the score over 17 and the score we got was 18/17 and we won but we still gave the other team a clap and said they did good as well.

Blog you later.

Writing this week!

Salaam bloggers, this blog is about our writing this week. We did speech marks and exclamation marks, question marks full stops and last week we did apostrophes. Here is the  slideshow

This is my awesome work I have done this week. I had to work hard because I had a workshop with someone. My friend helped me out because I came back kind of late, it is next week as well. The punctuation is good for the brain too, because here is another writing work. I learned that apostrophes is good enough for and way to much, the punctuation is good for emotions like exclamation marks.

Student Fun Day

Salaam bloggers, we had  student fun day on the 11th March on a Friday. We had a slip and slide, swimming, obstacle course, inflatable slide, a bouncy castle.

We first went on the slip & slide and me and my friends said” lets first go in the swimming pool so then we can have fun later”.  We went on the obstacle course bounce castle and here is a photo of me in the jeans and my green t-shirt.

the person in the jeans is me racing the person in the green t-shirt. The person banging into me is my friend called J.P. He banged into me because he slipped of the things that we had to jump over, I dropped some when I was jumping. I won the race with the person I was racing with. Next we went on the inflatable slide with no water there was supposed to be an inflatable slide but on the day in the morning they said in the message that they couldn’t send the water slide.
